Webinar on Clinical Negligence Update – An Update in UK Case Law and Expert Evidence

The Task Force on Laws for Healthcare Practitioners under the Academy's Professionalism and Ethics Committee and the Academy’s Jockey Club Institute for Medical Education and Development will jointly organise a webinar on Clinical Negligence Update – An Update in UK Case Law and Expert Evidence on 29 May 2025 at 6:00pm – 7:15pm.  The webinar is also supported by Kennedys.

Featuring Mr. Christopher Malla, Head of the Healthcare Division and Partner at Kennedys, this webinar will provide an update on UK case law and expert evidence in clinical negligence cases. It will highlight recent changes and challenges in handling medico-legal issues. Through case sharing and discussions, participants will gain a better understanding of the role and impact of expert evidence in clinical negligence cases and learn how these cases may be applied to court cases and disciplinary inquiries in Hong Kong.
